Good Travel Management's parent group annouces positive changes to the board.

Good Travel Management's parent company The John Good Group announces positive changes and plans for the future.

It has been a very positive year for the John Good Group with the establishment of a number of new offices and business services across the UK. We have continued to invest in the business to ensure we maintain the successful growth of the business and we expect to continue to do so throughout the next few years. Our recent acquisitions are now established and well integrated into the business.

As we turn the year we will continue to re-structure the Board to ensure we are positioned for further success and to build future capability. We recently announced that we will change roles in 2018 with our Executive Chairman, John Rutherford becoming non executive deputy Chairman and Stewart Oades stepping into the role of Non - executive Chairman from May 2018. These changes have been planned for some time as have the appointments of Alan Platt who is promoted from Managing Director to Chief Executive Officer of John Good Group and Jon Garnier, who is promoted from Finance Director to Chief Financial Officer, both effective January 2018.

We would like to congratulate them both on these appointments. As Alan assumes the role of Group CEO, Seamus Jennings will take on more responsibility for the Shipping and Forwarding activities of the Group to enable Alan to focus on the Groups development and strategy and will continue to sit on the Group Board.
