After many months of uncertainty, Virgin Atlantic cannot wait to welcome their customers back onboard, flying them safely to their favourite US destinations.
US borders will reopen on 8th November meaning that customers who are fully vaccinated with a vaccine recognised by the United States, will be able to enter the US as a visitor, be it for leisure, business or reuniting with loved ones. This latest easing of restrictions applies to visitors from the UK, Ireland, China, India, South Africa, Iran, Brazil and the 26 Schengen countries in Europe.
Connections between the Big Apple and the north of England are also receiving a boost, with flights between Manchester Airport and New York also resuming.
Services from Manchester to Atlanta will follow on 2nd December and Seattle and Washington DC services from Heathrow in early 2022.
In addition, Virgin Atlantic currently serves the following US destinations from London Heathrow:
Atlanta, Boston, New York-JFK, Los Angeles, Miami and San Francisco
Virgin Atlantic's partners Delta, are also back in the skies, with daily services from London Heathrow to Atlanta as well as services to Boston, Detroit and New York JFK, in November.
