5 Must Have Business Travel Gadgets for 2020

Travelling regularly for business can be tough!

Not only are you away from your family and friends, missing important events which you would usually be at, but it also means you are away from those home comforts that make life that little bit easier.

To help make those trips away from home that little bit more enjoyable, we’ve put together a list of some awesome gadgets every seasoned traveller should take on their trips:

#1 Smart Watch

Wearable tech is a big trend these days, and a smart watch a great way of linking together notifications from your smart phone, work emails and calendar appointments without having to keep taking your phone out of your pocket, saving valuable battery life. The great thing about Smart Watches is most of them will include some form of fitness tracker too, which is great for those who are trying to combat the unhealthy side effects of regular business travel.

Ok... I admit this might not be an absolute essential, but once you have a smart watch there will be no going back!

#2 USB All in One Travel Adapter

These days the busy business traveller has multiple devices which require charging and they will need to be able to do this in all different countries with different plug sockets, so having a universal power adapter is a no brainer! Most Universal adapters on the market will cover hundreds of countries and will also have multiple USB sockets to ensure you can charge all your devices at once. A Seasoned Road Warrior essential!

#3 Fragrance Atomiser

Just because you have a hand baggage only flight ticket shouldn’t mean you can’t still smell your best for those important client meetings you’re travelling to, so for those with fragrances over 100ml, an atomiser is essential. Simply remove the top of your perfume sprayer and insert the tube into the base of the atomiser and it will fill up a small amount to take on your travels.

#4 Mobile Power Bank

No matter how good your phone is, the chance is at some point you will run out of phone battery – which isn’t ideal when you have important business to attend to whilst on the road.

Mobile power banks are the perfect solution for this as you can pre-charge them before leaving home, so you have an extra battery which is small enough to carry around in your laptop bag. What’s even better is these power banks won’t break the bank and can be picked up for less than a tenner.

#5 Noise Cancelling Headphones

Let’s face it, airports and aeroplanes can be very noisy and distracting places to try and get those last-minute tweaks to your client presentation finished, so investing in some noise cancelling headphones will make the whole experience that little bit calmer. Noise-cancelling headphones were originally created for airplane pilots to improve their comfort on long flights, and the first consumer versions were also intended specifically for travellers, however these headphones are a little more pricey than normal ones, so expect to pay £100 upwards - a small price to pay for peace and quiet some might argue!
